BEANS 6"X6"

Jelly beans, a sign of Spring to me and one of my favorite snacks. When my mother was still able to go shopping she would frequently buy jelly beans for me to snack on while painting. I know, you aren't supposed to eat around oil paint but a girl needs some sugar for energy.

Anita,
This is really nice- like all the little reflections in the little beans! Even value changes in them and they are so little:) I like that spoon also. Yes, jelly beans are a sign of spring- I ate my way through a whole bag about a week ago:)

I don't think you've got anything to worry about as long as you don't use Lead and Cobalt. I happen to use both, so I paint with rubber gloves. I never saw anyone else who wears them until yesterday. Ran into a plein air painter who had them on. Now I don't feel as lonely.

Thanks for the comments. I do use cobalt sometimes and cadmiums always. Haven't used lead for years. Hated the smell.

This little painting just shouts "spring", Anita. Love the cheerful colors, and of course the reflections in the jelly beans. I'm a big fan of jelly beans!
