This was fun to paint but now I think it looks a bit like Christmas with all that red and green. Peppers are cheap and plentiful right now. They are piled in large stacks at the markets these days along with all manner of summer crops. This is the best time to live in Ohio......OH! about that heat and humidity.

I love your red pepper. I bought some peppers recently to paint and I think they are going bad. I can tell you loved doing this one. The strokes looke very confident and it looks juicy and good enough to eat (smiles).
